The biggest change a stair can get
Balusters are the upright bars between the handrail and the steps. On many builder homes they are painted wood, and they show their age first: scuffed paint, loose joints and a look the whole street shares.
Iron balusters change the stair without rebuilding it. The layout stays, and dark iron takes the place of the wood.

Styles
These are the common baluster styles. Mix them on one stair for a pattern, or keep one style for a clean line. Almost every railing we build is custom, so these are only a starting point.
